What is micro hair pigmentation?

Micro hair pigmentation is a non-surgical treatment in which colored pigment is applied to the upper layer of the skin. This ensures that bald spots are camouflaged, a bald head looks like a neatly shaved head and a thin head of hair becomes optically fuller.

Pigment is applied using thousands of dots.

How does hair pigmentation work?

After an extensive consultation, we get to work.

Step 1: Choose pigment

Together with our specialist you choose the most suitable pigment color. Generally, people with brown or black hair will benefit most from micro hair pigmentation. Pigment for people with lighter hair color is not available and would not be as visible optically.

Step 2: Cleanse skin

A hygienic wipe removes excess dust, hair flakes and oil removed as much as possible. Then the specialist goes to work.

Step 3: Apply pigment

With a small needle brings the specialist thousands of pigment dots on the scalp. These look like new 'hair stubble', making the skin less visible and creating the effect of a fuller head of hair. Hence it is sometimes also called 'stubble tattoo' or 'hair tattoo'. Usually you may experience a scratching or slightly irritating feeling, but in general this treatment is not painful.
